guard.me to receive 2016 Georgian College Board of Governor’s Community Partner Award

guard.me International Insurance has been selected as this year’s recipient of the Georgian College Board of Governor’s Community Partner Award.  A special ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 5 at Georgian College in Barrie.

guard.me International Insurance was nominated for being a key partner in growing and serving Georgian’s international student population and continuing to do so as a key contributor to the upcoming renovation of the International Centre.

The Community Partner Award recognizes noteworthy partners in the community or industry who have made a significant contribution to Georgian in support of its strategic priorities and in a way that reflects the college’s values.

Following the ceremony, there will be a keynote presentation by Olympic gold medalist, adventurer and social entrepreneur Adam Kreek.

Georgian serves 11,000 full-time students and offers more than 125 career-focused programs across seven locations in Central Ontario (Barrie, Midland, Muskoka, Orangeville, Orillia, Owen Sound and South Georgian Bay).
